We brought our two grandchildren (ages 3 & 9) to have quality time and do some serious fishing!  The 9 year old is consumed with fishing at an early age.  I also have a vacation rental in the area and appreciated Elayne and all the work she put in this cabin and property for others!  Impressed with decor selection like Indian artifacts and the copper pieces!  Kids were a challenge but we have enjoyed our "down" time here.  Caught a few bass, saw the geese (babies too).  Lake was full of bass, hit good on 3" artificial minnow.

My stay was great!  I enjoyed the thought that I am just in the middle of nature.  If you want to go fishing, go to the dam.  There are lots of bass, red ear and blue gill.  I also love watching the birds eat.
